I wanted to take this opportunity to actually unveil my Advertlets banner, but like seriously, I have no idea how to put it in WordPress.

But yeah, ever-since a bunch of my photographs went missing, I have finally decided that imageshack.us will be my official image uploader, and I have taken several precautions for photo-safety (fool proof I hope).

So to pay tribute to my AWOL photos and my return to imageshack.us, who have a cool new Windows Uploader software by the way, this post will be photo-centric though how long I can keep my mouth shut is open to debate.

Ah, the Bukit Tinggi trip of two weeks past, a time of holiday cheer and non-assignment glory.

Shahrin, Pearly, Siu Mei, and I stayed at the French Village, and the reception area was kinda cool Medieval-style.

But seriously, have you heard of level -2 before? Sounds like hell to me.

The view from a extremely tall tower. Breathtaking.

An architecture student like Zhen Long or Ellie might have been able to talk about the history and design of the buildings, but all I can say is wow.

And there was a really elegant-looking swan in a pond underneath the bridge entrance.

We then hopped into a death cab (trust me, I thought I would die) to the Japanese Village.

We then went to the Japanese restaurant there; yeah I know, Boon Ken eating Japanese, it is a two years once event!

I went with the safe bet of chicken teriyaki which was pretty awesome.

Dinner time was Italian, and I gotta say, it was pretty delicious.

Until this day, I am still wondering why I did not try a slice of Shahrin’s pizza.

The French Village looks even better at night.

Oh and did I mention that Lee Hom was shooting a commercial there? Not like I was stalking him or anything, I already saw him in concert, and I am no screaming fangirl. So yeah, he was doing a Coca-Cola commercial at Bukit Tinggi though I did not see him, I only saw hundreds of Taiwanese/China Chinese extras walking around like they own the place.

There were props everywhere, and RELA police were there to make sure that none of us actually mobbed the never-present Lee Hom.

Sorry if you guys are overwhelmed with photos, it is my first shot at photo-centric blogging. Bukit Tinggi is a nice peaceful place to escape, but staying a night there is pushing the place’s boundaries of fun. There is absolutely nothing to do there, the place is in need of maintaining, and half of the French Village was blocked for the Coke commercial, so yeah, when compared to the Epic Genting Voyage, Bukit Tinggi and YTL do not stand a chance.

Come to Bukit Tinggi, enjoy the view, have a picnic, then go home. That’s what I say.

PS: Once I got down from Bukit Tinggi, I managed to have coffee (Starbucks) and tea (the meal the English invented in between lunch and dinner) with Yi Zhen and Don Shue at the Curve while waiting for An Honest Mistake’s Moonshine performance.

It was my first time taking O’Brien sandwiches, and gosh, they were yummy!

For old times’ sake, to the Foundation Gang minus a whole lot of people!

PPS: For my review of An Honest Mistake’s live performance at Laundry Bar, please check out our official band blog. They are currently in the studio recording their first single, with Joshua making the video. Exciting times people.
