What do you do when you have tons of assignments and cannot seem to find time to do it? Throw a BBQ party, invite all your former classmates, and gamble the night away. That is my philosophy even though the BBQ party was held in Jwo Bin’s place.
Here is the food.
As per usual, Don Shue was the first one to everything. Food-vise that is.
Speaking of Don Shue, here he is pouring honey on the pen…errmm sausages.
And here is Don Shue again, grilling a banana (unfortunately I did not take the photo of him grilling a watermelon, but that is a story for another day altogether) even though it is nothing like goreng pisang. It TASTED pretty darn good, in a disgusting sorta way.
But what was great about the BBQ was that Kok Keong finally brought his girlfriend along. This led to the entire BBQ lounge being divided into two parts – the private area for Kok Keong and GF and the one for everybody else.
After the eating, we all started a whole new way of gambling – healthy gambling! Not for the faint-hearted and watermelon-hating people like me, the losers of black jack and chor dai di would have to pay their debt by eating said numbers of watermelons while I had to eat jelly, which was not that nice as well.
In the end, it was the best fun we had in awhile even though all the assignments aren’t exactly doing themselves. But who cares?
