We signed up for a tour to the temples as well as the famous Monkey Forest.

The temples were pretty fascinating. They looked ancient.

Fun Facts about Bali: Nearly 90% of all Balinese are Hindu. They call themselves Hindu Bali which has a few differences than the Hindu religion here in Malaysia. They believe in Karma and Moksya as well. They put offerings on the floor which comprise of flower (symbol of love), fire (so the smoke can reach the skies which symbolises God) as well as water (which I forgot what it symbolises :P). They believe in good and evil and the importance of balance between the two elements.

But the fun really started in the Monkey Forest where we fed the monkeys peanuts.

They would not let go of Wei Li and Yen Li’s legs. Now we know why some of them are so fat. They are GREEDY!

Fun Facts about Bali: There are nearly 600 monkeys in the Monkey Forest and all of them are vaccinated so if you are bitten by any one of them, your life is not in danger. They are fed everyday so they won’t starve if you don’t feed them. Do not put your hands in your pocket and open up your hands to show the monkeys that you indeed are out of peanuts.

After that, we went to Tanah Lot temple to witness the sunset. It was just beautiful.
